The people of Oro in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State have applauded the Federal Government for maintaining the quick pace of work at the ongoing 132/133kv injection station in the town.

While welcoming the Site Engineer, Moses M. Imie, the Baale of Oro, High Chief Raphael Olateju Afolabi said his people will for ever be grateful to the government at the centre for the massive project.

Chief Afolabi was optimistic that the era of blackout would be a thing of the past in Oro and neighboring communities after the completion of the project.

Flanked by his chiefs, the Baale said the community will be readily available to render any form of assistance for a smooth completion of the project.

In his response, Engr. Imie said the community would always be contacted on the progress of the project.
